RYAN Reynolds has shared the trailer for his new Netflix movie 6 Underground – and it doesn’t scrimp on action.
The film – a collaboration with acclaimed filmmaker Michael Bay, as well as Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick from the Deadpool team – sees Reynolds play billionaire One.
He recruits a deadly team of operatives, convincing them to fake their own deaths so they can operate off the grid.
Explaining that they’ve been hired not just for their skill, but for their determination to escape their pasts and form a new life, Reynolds heads up the team in true gun-slinging, car-flipping style.
The likes of Ben Hardy, best known for his roles in X-Men and EastEnders, and Dave Franco also exhibit badassery aplenty in the 3-minute clip.
Reynolds first teased the trailer by posting a pic of a Netflix envelope with a DVD enclosed, a nod to its original business model.
“For your consideration comes the haunting story of One (Ryan Reynolds), a brooding, beautiful and sarcastic man, who vows to take his pain and channel it into changing the world for the better,” he told his 15 million followers.

“From Director Michael Bay comes an ode to the great Italian neorealist Fellini but with fast cars, insane action, exotic locations and professional gorgeous people where post-World War II Italy would normally be,” he added.
Reynolds later poked fun at his original post, conceding that the film will be available to stream only.
“Apparently Netflix now has a ‘digital’ arm, so you don’t have to rewind at the end,” he quipped.”
“Anyway, here’s the ‘digital’ trailer for 6 Underground A.K.A. ‘How Michael Bay Stopped Worrying and Love Explosions More.’”
6 Underground will be released on Netflix on 13 December.
