Stranger Things fans go wild as official account posts cryptic Upside Down season 4 clue
STRANGER Things could be returning way sooner than anticipated.
Fans of the eighties sci-fi show have received little information about when the fourth season will hit Netflix.
In fact, another series hasn’t even been officially confirmed, leaving some nervous fans worried season 3 may have been the last.
Fortunately, most are feeling decidedly more reassured after the official Stranger Things Twitter account posted a message indicating we won’t have too long to wait for more Hawkins-based action.
Adopting the mantra that an emoji speaks a thousand words, the message was made up of a clock, alongside an upside-down face.
As such, many are interpreting the post to read along the lines of: “Time for the Upside Down”.

Viewers will know that the Upside Down as the parallel realm filled with monsters that can be accessed through a rift.
Suffice to say the thought of an imminent release sent followers of the account into a tailspin.
“I swear if we get season 4 in 2019 I don’t need any Christmas presents,” one excited user wrote.
A second predicted: “Season 4 is already filmed.”
Meanwhile another formed a fully-fledged theory around the positioning of the hands on the clock.
“Theory: the clock is on 6, which could mean 006. In volume two of the Stranger Things comic 11 can foresee events that are about to happen,” they wrote.
“Maybe she sees Hopper about to die, and tries to stop it? Or a new character who could turn back time goes back in time to save Hopper?”
