KATE Wright's mum has said her daughter's wedding to Rio Ferdinand was the "the best day of my life".
The famous couple tied the knot in a lavish wedding ceremony on Friday after 180 friends and family jetted to Turkey to watch them become husband and wife.
The Towie star, 28, and football pundit, 40, put on an extravaganza for guests that lasted three days, at five star hotel D Maris Bay.
Speaking about her daughter's nuptials, Jacqueline said: "It was a beautiful occasion. We've had a wonderful three days.
"The ceremony was on Friday. I'll never forget it, it was one of the best days in my life.
"We took the whole hotel over and it was quite a party."
She added to : "I'm really happy for them both and wish them a wonderful life together."
Kate and Rio married in front of his three children Lorenz, 13, Tate, 11, and Tia, seven.
According to , Mayor Mehmet Oktay told Demirören News Agency that he officiated their dream wedding at the D Maris Bay hotel, saying: "Both the couple and the guests told me that they enjoyed Marmaris a lot.
"Ferdinand said they will visit Marmaris in the years to come."
Ex-footballer Rio and the reality star kicked off celebrations on Thursday with a pre-wedding party for their high-profile guests.
The ceremony then followed on Friday afternoon with Rio's daughter playing the important role of Maid of Honour.
Loved-up Rio and Kate ended their epic three-day celebrations at the £4000 a night hotel with a pool party yesterday.
The 196-room hotel is surrounded by stunning ocean and mountain views and The Sun revealed last week that friends and family had flown out early to enjoy its perks.
However, their phones had been taken away from them in a bid to stop any photographs of the big day being leaked.
The famous pair got engaged in November last year after almost two years of dating.
Former England and Manchester United defender Rio was married to the mother of his three children Rebecca Ellison, who died of cancer in 2015.
He announced his engagement to Kate in 2018 by sharing snaps online of the moment he popped the question on top of a skyscraper.
Rio asked Kate to be his wife as his three children watched during a family holiday together in Abu Dhabi.
Kate shared the snap online and told her followers: “The perfect end to our holiday ... How could the answer not be yes!”
He later shared the same pictures online and told his fans his three children had been in on his plan.
Rio explained: “She said yes! How these 3 kids kept it a secret I’ll never know!”
Reality star Kate gave up her spot on Towie to focus on helping to raise Rio's family.
He has previously said his kids are desperate for the pair to have a child of their own.
This weekend's wedding was kept under wraps as the couple went silent on social media and told friends not to post anything from the big day.
Kate - who met multi-millionaire Rio on holiday in Dubai - frequently posts glossy pictures of the couple's home in Essex, estimated to be worth around £2million.

It boasts a walk-in wardrobe, a swimming pool and a spacious kitchen with a double oven and a breakfast bar.
Floor to ceiling windows overlook a huge garden surrounded by woodlands, complete with trampoline, basketball net and a football pitch.
But the most frequently pictured room is the home gym – with more equipment than your average David Lloyd – where Kate and Rio share daily workouts.
