CORONATION Street fans will see the enormity of what happened to Paul Foreman at the hands of his former step-dad - Kel Hinchley - hit him like a tonne of bricks.
Emotional scenes from the hit ITV soap show the factory worker break down over upcoming weeks as he realises he was groomed and sexually abused when he was a young teen.
When was Paul abused in Coronation Street?
Paul’s storyline is one of historic sexual abuse. It happened over a decade ago when he was just 14-years-old.
It’s not clear how the abuse started but Paul – who’s played by Peter Ash – was shocked when his mum, Bernie, reconnected with his former step-dad, Kel.
From conversations between Paul and Kel, it soon became clear that the pair of them had a sexual relationship when Kel was with Bernie the first time around.
Billy Mayhew became concerned about Paul’s behaviour and, when he explained his relationship with Kel, the vicar pointed out that he’d been abused by the older man.
But a furious Paul told Billy they’d been in love and the sex was consensual - but in fact, he was 14, so wasn’t actually old enough to give consent.
Since then, the truth has slowly started to dawn on Paul - leaving him struggling to cope with the realisation.

What we DO know is that an angry Paul will confront Kel next week leading to a violent altercation between the pair.
Paul will unleash the full force of his rage on Kel, beating him into a coma.
Billy convinces Paul to hand himself into the police for the attack as well as reveal the abuse he suffered at Kel’s hands.
But Paul finds himself unable to say it and, later, Kel threatens to go to the police about the assault if Paul doesn’t keep his mouth shut.
