CORONATION Street's paedo Kel will confront his abuse victim Paul Foreman in the Rovers Return tonight as he worries his sick secret could be revealed.
Kel is drinking in the Weatherfield boozer with lover Bernie Winter – when he comes face-to-face with Paul.
Tonight, a sickened Paul directs some snide remarks at mum, Bernie, but feels guilty when he discovers that twin sister Gemma has had some worrying news about one of the quadruplets she’s carrying.
Soon Kel corners him in the loos and tells Paul – who he groomed and sexually abused as a young teenager – that he needs to move on from the past.
Kel’s request leaves Paul in turmoil as he refuses to pretend that nothing happened between them.
So far Paul – who’s played by Peter Ash in the ITV soap – has been in denial about his abuse as his former step-dad had convinced him they were simply in love.
But spoilers have revealed that the truth will hit Paul next week which leads him to violently attack the man who groomed him from the age of 14.
He will be seen confronting Kel and attacking him, leaving him unconscious in the ginell.
When Kel is found and taken to hospital, Paul admits to vicar Billy Mayhew that he attacked him and that he's now in a coma.
Billy implores Paul to go to the police and confess, but to also tell them about Kel’s abuse.
But before Paul can make a decision, Kel comes around from his coma and tells the police he was jumped by a gang of strangers.
Meanwhile, Paul returns from the station and reveals to Billy that he couldn’t go through with reporting Kel as it would mean raking up the awful past.
Billy – Daniel Brocklebank - gives Paul a shoulder to cry on while he comes to terms with what has happened to him.
Elsewhere Kel claims that he couldn’t grass Paul up to the police as he’s Bernie’s son - his former partner who he's only just recently reconciled with.
But Bernie is furious, and she soon turns on Paul saying she’ll never forgive him as she demands to know what their fight was about.
Desperate to keep his sick secret, Kel makes out the fight was his fault and says he made a homophobic comment which Paul took badly.
