Emmerdale’s Isabel Hodgins reveals massive off-camera love life update after getting engaged

EMMERDALE actress Isabel Hodgins has been through some gripping storylines with her character in the Yorkshire dales.

But now the star who plays Victoria Sugden on the ITV soap is the midst of a major life moment herself, as she has now become a proud home owner.

The 30-year-old has bought a new home with her fiancé and the star couldn’t be happier.

Sharing some photos of her new front door to social media she said:

“Onto the next chapter.”

In another photo she included a photo of two keys next to a bottle of rose fizz, writing: “We are finally in, now I have to live with a smelly boy."

The house move comes just months after the actress got engaged to her boyfriend Adam Whitehead.

Just before Christmas the soap star posted a video to Instagram showing Whitehead slipping an engagement ring onto her finger across the table at a restaurant, before the pair then lean in for a kiss.

Writing in the caption she said: “The most incredible night of my life. I said yes to marrying my best friend. My kind, sweet, patient and generous, perfect person. I can’t wait to spend forever with you.”

Isabel who has been on Emmerdale since 2006 first announced her relationship with Adam in December 2022.

Prior to Adam she was involved with her former co-star Michael Parr for four years, but the pair decided to split towards the end of 2018, after Michael quit the soap in a bid to try his luck in Hollywood, having acted on Emmerdale since 2013.

At the time, the source told The Sun that the relationship had run its course.

'They drifted apart and felt it was better to be mates. He has been throwing himself into his social life and has just been on a lads' holiday and she is focusing on work.

'They're both young and want to follow their dreams. They had a meaningful relationship and they'll remember the good times.'

Meanwhile, Isabel has stayed put in Wetherby, and no doubt the pay cheques have helped her to get on the property ladder, as she prepares for the next chapter of her life.
