EMMERDALE'S Kelvin Fletcher managed to call the police halfway through a stand-off with on-screen brother Robert Sugden.
The 36-year-old actor, who played Andy Sugden on ITV soap from 1996 until 2016, got through to the emergency services by accident during a scene where he found out his on-screen brother killed his wife.
Some of our favourite Emmerdale stars revealed their most hilarious blunders on set during this weeks episode of ITV's Soapy Slip-Ups.
The cast were hysterics when the Strictly star had to quickly stop in the middle of a dramatic blowout to tell the crew he'd made a mistake.
As he watched it back, Kelvin told the camera: "I remember this scene, a big moment this, I was absolutely in the moment. I was distraught, I was angry that he's played a hand in my wife's death."
In the episode Andy went to call police on his brother Robert, when he suddenly bursted out: "Sorry, I just rang the police. You didn't tell me there was a sim card in it."

And the rest of the crew burst out into fits of laughter.
Reminiscing on what had happened, Kelvin added: "I'm dialling the number rather than pretending to dial 999, I'm dialling 999 because I want to speak to the police!
Co-star Charlotte Bellamy, who plays Laurel Thomas in the soap, couldn't contain herself whilst watching it back and said: "Oh my god, I haven't seen that clip!"
She then giggled: "Did they come?"

After three years away from the spotlight, Kelvin starred in the 17th series of BBC One's Strictly Come Dancing.
The star is definitely just as good on the dance floor as he with acting because he ended up winning the show with dance partner Oti Mabtuse.
His most exciting new venture is his new role in BBC's Death in Paradise.
After months of speculation the series' official Twitter account announced the news with a photo of Kelvin in character in front of a tropical backdrop.
