MARRIED at First sight bride Sionainn has finally revealed the big reason why she quit the experiment early, leaving husband Ryan in the lurch.
As millions watched the reunion show on tenterhooks, keen to solve the mystery behind the couple’s split, it seems that the rift came to a blazing row about, you’ve guessed it, shoe laces.
Talking to the relationships experts during last night’s consultation, Sionainn explained that it was a series of small petty arguments that led to the big breakup.
She said: “It got to the point, it was the most ridiculous argument, we started arguing over shoelaces. Then he told me all his feelings were fake, he never meant any of it and I thought I’ve done it too many times and I am not doing it again.”
Sitting on the sofa, Ryan then retorted: “A pathetic argument over a pair of shoes, made you leave to the experiment.” To which Sionainn replied: “But it was a multitude of things that added up.”
But viewers of the show seem unconvinced by her reasoning.

Taking to Reddit one person said: “It’s that bad, but then at the same time, not that bad.”
Another person suggested that there may have been a cover up. They said:
“Here's the thing that confused me: They were allowed to abruptly leave the show, and the production crew didn't require further participation from them. The production crew seems to be quite serious about couples hanging in there, even when things are horrible. But something was different about these two. I won't speculate, but some kind of bad shit must have happened.”
And another viewer echoed these exact thoughts.

“im really hoping nothing terribly bad happened but atp that's the only thing i can think of that would explain them leaving.”
Scotland-born Sionainn also accused Ryan of flirting with the least popular bride Hannah, but Hannah backed him by piping up and saying “Ryan’s never flirted with me I am just going to put it out there.”
Then Ryan said: “You’ve made out to the rest of the group that I am this bad person and Ive sat back and ive not bit.”
Therapist, Charlene Douglas said: “Do you think you both have a tendancy to run away at the first sign of trouble.”
To which Sionainn replied: “I think I do the opposite, I hang on and this time I am not hanging on.”
Initially, they’d appeared to be getting on well, but then relations appeared to rapidly disintegrate, leaving viewers baffled and concerned.
Ryan said: "I'm leaving boys. We've had a proper argument and I was trying to do my laces. I was trying to retie my laces and it was getting on my nerves. So Shannon was trying to help me. So I said, ‘oh, just leave him, just leave them now’.
“And she said, ‘oh, don't speak to me like that’.
“She said to me she doesn't feel comfortable in the relationship and she doesn't know if I'm here for a genuine reason. “
While Sionainn told the girls: “We had like a little fall out yesterday. And it was like, honestly over shoelaces, he just spoke to me really, really poorly.
“And I said, ‘Ryan don't speak to me like that. You're not going to speak to me like s**t’.
“And it just flipped. He decided to tell me that none of his feelings had ever been real. He'd been faking it all. It was all a holiday romance for him.”
In her piece to camera, the gutted bride added: “I developed real feelings for Ryan and when he told me all his feelings were fake and he didn't mean anything that he said.
"I feel like I'd been hit in the chest with something. It was a horrible feeling. And I think now I've seen the real side to him. I don't even think I've known the real Ryan ever.”

Earlier in the experiment, viewers were convinced that Sionainn couldn't stop shaking and feared it could be due to an underlying problem in her marriage.
The couple revealed to the experts of a misunderstanding they'd had, with Sionainn revealing something Ryan did reminded her of an ex-boyfriend, prompting her to "panic" and flee.
