Love Island’s Sherif WILL reveal the truth about why he was axed and sign up with celebrity agent in bid for fame
LOVE Island's Sherif Lanre WILL reveal why he was axed from the show, and is signing up with a celebrity agent in a bid for fame.
The 20-year-old chef caused shockwaves when he was booted from the villa earlier this week for breaking one of the ITV2 dating show's strict rules.
Insiders close to the star have now told The Sun Online that the ex-Islander is desperate to talk about what happened in Majorca as he hopes to move on from the scandal and put it behind him so that he can enjoy the perks of his new-found fame.
The source told us: "Sherif has been meeting with some top agents today and he is hoping that they will be able to guide him in getting the truth out there.
"He is desperate for viewers to know what really happened and to stop the speculation - he wants to tell the full story and explain his side of things.
"Sherif just wants to get everything off his chest so that he can move on from the scandal."
They added: "Sherif has been telling mates that he wants to enjoy the perks following his Love Island stint and is making a bid for fame.
"Once he settles on a celeb agent he'll start the process - kicking off with what really went down in the villa."
Sherif was spotted attempting to go incognito as he stepped out in London earlier today.
The reality star sported a baseball cap and sunglasses, looking stony-faced as he wandered down the rainy streets.
The photos came after The Sun Online revealed that Sherif now has two beefy bodyguards outside of his home, having arrived back in the UK yesterday.
A source explained: "Sherif is being closely guarded by round-the-clock security that has been put in place by ITV.
"They want to make sure he’s being looked after and they’re keen to protect him from fans and trolls."
Earlier this week, The Sun Online told how Sherif had spent "hours on his own in the shower" before being kicked out of the show.
MORE ON LOVE ISLAND
Speaking in a statement, Sherif previously said of his Love Island exit: "In a case of poor judgement, I broke the villa rules and as a result agreed with the producers it was best for me to leave.
"I regret that I didn’t conduct myself in the right way and, as a 20 year old guy, it’s something I know I will take on board and learn from."
Some of the villa rules that the hopeful may have broken include a ban on solo sex acts, nudity, and outside communication.
Fans were left fuming when Love Island refused to clarify which rule was broken, slamming producers for keeping them in the dark.
