A former Love Island contestant has blown open one of the shows top secrets.
Casa Amor housemate Billy Brown who resided in the villa during the 2022 season, has told how Islanders can send messages to each other on their mobile phones without being noticed.
And Billy admitted that he thought that producers had control of their phones and social media content while they were inside the villa.

"We take funny photos and they go through them and post them on Instagram - so, yeah, I guess so..."
But Billy who has over 100,000 followers on social media admitted that he enjoyed having space from the web.
"We were trying so many different things to hack into the phones to use the internet but it wasn't happening. But I loved not having a proper phone though. It was weird coming out and getting my phone back - for two days, I didn't touch it. I hated it."
After leaving the Love Island villa, Billy initially returned to his job as a roofer but now works successfully as a social media influencer, with a football focused YouTube channel.
