THE Apprentice has been thrilling fans since it first burst onto TV on the mid-noughties.

Fans of the show may wonder how they can apply to be one of the candidates, and face the mighty Lord Alan Sugar.

As the show is pre-recorded, The Apprentice 2024 has already been filmed.

But, fans can still apply for season 19 which will air in 2025

In order to apply you need to be over the age of 18.

Applicants should prepare to answer questions such as the following:

  • Why should you be Lord Sugar’s business partner?
  • What makes you different from everyone else applying?
  • What is the most interesting thing about you?
  • What’s the most impressive thing you’ve ever done in business?

Applications close on February 14, 2024, at 11.59pm.

How does Lord Alan Sugar select candidates?

Once an applicant passes the application stage, they’d ne expected to attend initial meetings, followed by another round of interviews, before reaching the final stage.

Anyone who is successful in applying for a future show will need to make sure they’re available for up to 13 weeks for filming. That could include taking time off work.

As certain tasks may be filmed overseas, applicants may be required to be fully vaccinated – unless you have a medical exemption – to be considered for the show.

The winner will receive investment of up to £250,000 and will go into a 50:50 business with Lord Sugar.

Speaking to the BBC, he said: “The most frequently asked question to me is, do you know who’s going to win as soon as you see the whole lot?

“The answer is absolutely not. I don’t know who’s going to win until we really get through to the end of the series.”

When does the next season of The Apprentice start?

The eighteenth series The Apprentice will kick off on February 1, 2024 on BBC One and the iPlayer.

Lord Alan Sugar once again resides over the show, with the help of his aides Karren Brady and Tim Campbell.

Fans will be treated to 12 brand new episodes, with the show set to run every Thursday at 9pm , until April 18, 2024.
