EASTENDERS' Tamzin Outhwaite has a stunning family home in London with second hand bargains sitting alongside luxury purchases.
The 50-year-old star has given a glimpse into her home life with daughters Marnie, nine, Florence, 13, and boyfriend Tom Child, 31, on Instagram.
The TV star has even set up a dedicated account to show fans her progress after spending months overhauling her decor during lockdown.
Tamzin recently transformed her living room by painting everything bar the white ceiling an elegant chocolate brown.
She told fans: "I don’t have a before picture for our lounge/adult room/ long room/sitting room/white room... as you can imagine it was all white but I made a bold move and painted the whole room including the door, frames, picture rails & panels.
"I may now do exactly the same with the other half of the room and the dividing doors... beautiful paint which @andytayloring said spread like chocolate.... I LOVE THIS COLOUR... Thank you @fleurpaintuk for all your suggestions & help...#chocolatewish #loungerenovation #interiordesign #fleurpaint #chocolatewish"
And she recently upcycled a bathroom cabinet, sourcing new handles, a marble worktop, and an accompanying handrail.
She said: "I found a dark wooden sideboard in a junk shop near my home. Bought a large piece of marble and cut to size.
"I treated and painted the wood Vardo from @farrowandball . Bought brass taps from @bertandmay . The tiles are the Moroccan collection from @toppstiles . The granite basin is from @bertandmay too.
I commissioned a friend to make the towel rail/shelf from wood and copper piping... I love it"
Tamzin said her daughter Florence has great taste and designed her bedroom herself, adding sheer net curtains around her bed.
Meanwhile, the celeb's kitchen is stylish and modern as well as homely, with a large island the perfect place for hosting family and friends.
The patio doors let in plenty of light and peel away to reveal an unimpeded view of the garden.
Perfect for relaxing, the outdoor area has plenty of places to sit and a large swing for the kids.
Tamzin is big on interior design, previously wrote in a blog for : "I love renovating - you could say I'm a serial renovator. And not just bricks and mortar. I love all aspects of making the best of a home inside and out. And over the years I've learned often the hard way, what works and what doesn't. Well for me, at least.
"The girls will tell you I get quite obsessed with my 'home projects', be it ripping out kitchens when I'm heavily pregnant, building extensions to get the most out of any available new space, to decorating, upholstering and even - for a while - batch making chutney. But I digress."
