What time is Derry Girls season two final on TV?

The Derry Girls season two finale is TONIGHT (April 9, 2019) at 9pm on Channel 4.

The current series will run for six episodes.

Will there be another series of Derry Girls?

As the finale of season 2 of Derry Girls approaches TONIGHT (April 9), fans are already chomping at the bit to find out if there will be another season.

But there is yet to be any confirmation of a third series.

So fans will have to sit tight until an official announcement is made by the series' producers.

What is Derry Girls about?

Derry Girls is the semi-autobiographical sitcom based on the life of Lisa McGee, who's previously written shows including Being Human.

It follows schoolgirl Erin and her best pals Clare and Michelle as they survive life in the 90s during the times of "The Troubles" in Northern Ireland - where they were surrounded by British Army checkpoints and peace walls.

But the Troubles are the least of the groups' problems as they face up to their love lives, being cool and dealing with school.

Who is in the cast?

Saoirse Monica Jackson stars as Erin, while Nicola Coughlan and Jamie-Lee O’Donnell play Clare and Michelle respectively.

Siobhan McSweeney, star of The Fall and No Offence, stars as the miserable nun principal, Sister Michael.

Tara Lynne O’Neill and Irish comedian Tommy Tiernan play Erin's embarrassing parents, while her grandfather is played by Game of Thrones star Ian McElhinney (known as Barristan Selmy).
