PETE Wicks has mocked his ex Maura Higgins’ antics at the Brit Awards after she was spotted getting close to Danny Jones.
The former Towie star, who briefly dated the Love Island beauty, couldn’t resist taking a swipe at her as he discussed the awards show with best mate Sam Thompson.

Last week The Sun revealed how McFly star Danny, 38, and Maura, 34, appeared to have a brief drunken kiss at the Universal Brits after-party.
And Pete hinted at the drama, on his podcast Staying Relevant as he told listeners: “BRITs, a lot happened at the BRITs, an awful lot happened at the BRITs… I am probably going to leave that there.”
Raising his eyebrows, he then emphasised and repeated: “A LOT happened at the BRITs, but we’re going to MOVE on from that and tell you about our BRITs experience.”
The pair returned to topic later on the in the podcast and reference the bash were Maura and Danny partied until the early hours.

He told fans: “We then went to the Universal afterparty,” as Sam smiled and said: “Ahhh, the Universal afterparty.”
Pete continued: “NOTHING happened there for us, we had a great time at the Universal afterparty, we stayed there a little bit, had a little f****** few drinks.”
Sam quipped: “We did it RIGHT,” as Pete chimed in: “No no, it’s not that other people did it wrong. No No No!”
Sam went on: “I meant at these parties, you don’t want to linger for too long.We got there a little bit early, got there before the crash happens, had a few drinks, spoke to loads of people and left at about 1am, which is the perfect time before everything gets a bit messy.”

We previously told how Maura and Danny were seen looking close at 3am in the morning.
It was then revealed that the pair stayed at a hotel until 6am sharing wine.

Pete and Maura, who were friends for years, started dating while he danced on Strictly and she appeared on I'm A Celeb, where she first met Danny, a member of McFly.
Their split was revealed on Valentine’s Day and things quickly turned sour when she publicly accused him of cheating.
Following the Brits, Maura lay low, before flying to Los Angeles earlier this week for work.
Yesterday Danny and his wife Georgia put on a united front as they were seen for the first time , after the drama unfolded.

It comes after we told how the couple, who married in August 2014 and share one son, were determined to move past the scandal and get on with their lives.
A friend close to the couple insisted they were strong and united.
They added: “Danny and Georgia took time away together to talk about what happened at the Brits.
“It has been incredibly embarrassing for them both and Danny had a lot of questions to answer.
“Their marriage is strong though and Danny and Georgia just want to move on with their lives now.

“They are a united team and just want to focus on the future.
“As far as Danny and Georgia are concerned, they have done all the talking they needed to do and now they just want to try and get back to normal."
