Watch shock moment EastEnders legend is ‘KILLED’ as devastated fans beg bosses to change their mind

EASTENDERS fans are fearful that Martin Fowler has been killed off after tonight’s incredibly dramatic episode.
The 40th special ended with Martin, played by James Bye, being trapped even further in the Queen Vic – and screaming in agony.
Just moments before he had declared his love for Stacey Slater, telling her: "Of course it's you."
But as they shared a special moment amongst the devastation another beam fell on him – as Stacey looked on in horror.
Those watching at home rushed to comment on it, with one person gasping: “No martin!!! He best not die .”
A second said: “PLEASE DONT KILL MARTIN OMG.”
While a third added: “If Martin dies I will never recover.”
Yesterday's shock episode saw the Queen Vic explode when Sonia Fowler's former partner Reiss Colwell (Jonny Freeman) crashed his car into the Albert Square pub after being on the run following a murder, and kidnapping Bianca Jackson (Patsy Palmer).
Martin was the first baby to be born on the Square, as parents Pauline and Arthur Fowler welcomed him in August 1985.
James, 40, has played fruit stall trader Martin since the character's role was recast in 2014.
James Alexandrou previously played the role from 1996 until 2007.
Elsewhere in the episode the explosion at the Queen Vic saw killer Reiss Colwell finally die after being crushed by a bathtub.
Actress Anita Dobson reprised her role as Queen Vic landlady Angie after 37 years as she appeared to trapped daughter Sharon.
In a stunning scene Sharon - who is played by actress Letitia Dean in the BBC soap - saw a vision of her mum Angie who begged her to start screaming for help.
“Use that voice and you start screaming for help,” she said. “That’s it baby, you start screaming for help. That’s my girl.”
The east London-set soap began on February 19 1985.
Thursday's love episode will show viewers if their votes mean Diane Parish's character, Denise Fox, reunites with her estranged husband Jack Branning (Scott Maslen) or her secret lover Ravi Gulati (Aaron Thiara).
With the 40th anniversary of EastEnders coming up, fans are looking forward to some more incredible cameos from iconic faces of Walford's past. But who have we had so far?
