|Freezing your eggs is a big decision, and cost!

"The NHS may cover the cost in some cases (not many,) but for most women, it’s a private expense, typically ranging from £3,000 to £5,000 per cycle.

"It’s a lot, and I do wish there was more help out there for this.

"Friends in the U.S were telling me that it’s become more common there for companies to offer fertility benefits and I think that’s something that hopefully will start happening here, so women who want to focus on their careers don’t have to sacrifice future family planning.

"The world has developed in a way that often doesn’t suit our biological time lines and options are always good right?

"Anyway, ten eggs on ice! Job done. I may come back and do another round later, they recommend getting 20! But for now I’m ready to get back to it.

"Thanks for all the support along the way."
