Coronation Street and EastEnders legends sign up for new series of hit Channel 5 drama

Channel 5 viewers may recognise some familiar faces in the upcoming series of detective drama Madame Blanc Mysteries

TWO soap stars have joined the cast of Channel 5 detective drama Madame Blanc Mysteries for its fourth season.

The Channel 5 crime programme is set to film its fourth series, and will welcome an EastEnders star and a Coronation Street actor into its cast.

Madame Blanc Mysteries will welcome back some regular faces including Paul Chuckle and Les Dennis as well as Stephen Bailey.

Also joining the cast are Corrie's Samantha Power, who played Dev Alahan's friend Talisa Grady in 2015.

EastEnders icon Richard Blackwood is set to join, with fans knowing him for his longstanding role as Vincent Hubbard in the BBC soap from 2015 until 2018.

Joining the fourth series are Unforgotten actor Charlie Condou, Sweetpea star Lorraine Burroughs and Our Girl's Danny Hatchard.

The Channel 5 hit show sees actress Sally Lindsay take on the lead role of Jean White in The Madame Blanc Mysteries, who is an antiques dealer and amateur sleuth.

She is the key to solving a slew of killings and mysteries set against the picturesque French village of Sainte Victoire.

The Madame Blanc Mysteries first aired on Channel 5 in 2021, with former Coronation Street star Sally Lindsay at the helm.

The fourth series will also see Jean return to Saint Victorie loved up with partner Dom Hayes, played by Benidorm's Steve Edge. The pair found romance at the end of the last series, set in France.

During the Christmas special, which aired on Christmas Eve, viewers watched as the romance had sweet moments including exchanging gifts.
