The One Show hosts forced to apologise as guest causes chaos by swearing TWICE on air

Australian actress Toni Collette turned the air blue and blamed it on her jet lag

The One Show hosts were forced to apologise after being caught off-guard by a guest swearing TWICE.

The episode got off to a rocky start when presenter Alex Jones revealed her earring had fallen out live on air in front of Ant McPartlin and Dec Donnelly.

Then chaos ensued as Mickey 17 stars Naomi Ackie and Toni Collette 'performed' in front of the Geordie duo.

As the Australian actress demonstrated her unique party trick of impersonating a toaster, Toni said: "S**t I can't believe I'm doing this."

Alex and her co-host Vernon Kay then rushed to apologise to viewers for the bad language.

"We've got to apologise for that, potty mouth Toni," said Vernon.

However, moments later, Toni repeated the same swear word after refusing to accept it was her.

She shouted: "Did I swear? S***."

It sent the celebrity guests into hysterics - as Vernon added: "Apologies again."

Dec held his head in his hands as Ant bent over laughing.
