Stunning Love Island star set to sign up for Celebrity Masterchef after taking huge relationship step

A STUNNING Love Island star is set to sign up for the next series of Celebrity MasterChef after a sensational exit from the villa. 

She didn’t make it to the final but the Love Island star was undoubtedly the most iconic Islander of her series. 

Now The Sun can exclusively reveal Uma Jammeh, 23, is close to swapping her bikini for the famous MasterChef apron with bosses keen for her to appear on the celebrity version. 

A telly insider told us: “Uma is a great get for the show, as not only is she stunning, she’s also funny and will appeal to younger viewers. 

“It’s also the perfect next step for her career as it introduces her to a whole new audience who may not be familiar with her from Love Island.”

The Sun has contacted a rep for the show for comment.

Uma sent shockwaves through the villa last year when she dramatically quit the show after her boyfriend Wil Anderson, 23, was dumped. 

Fans and fellow Islanders questioned her decision at the time, claiming she would come to regret cutting her Love Island journey short and following her heart. 

But Uma is having the last laugh and she and Wil are still going strong. 

It was full steam ahead for the couple after leaving the villa as just weeks later they moved in together. 

Uma and Wil had a rocky journey during their time in the villa, with Wil having his head turned in Casa Amor and . 

The shock moment was played out on Movie Night - leaving Uma devastated. 

But she chose to give him another chance and when Reuben Collins picked her in a recoupling - meaning Wil was dumped - she packed her bags too. 

Addressing her exit afterwards, Uma said: “I knew where my head and heart was at and it’s with Wil so I wanted to be true to my feelings for him.”
