Soap legend rushed to hospital as she shares A&E pic and tells fans ‘I just want to be well now’
A SOAP legend has been rushed to hospital after sharing a picture in A&E, and telling fans ‘I just want to be well now.’
Brookside star Jennifer Ellison posted on social media, alerting fans that she was in hospital.
She posted a photo of her arm with a cannula attached and wrote: “The gift that keeps on giving,” followed by a sad face.
Jennifer added: “Need to feel well again.”
The 41-year-old actress didn’t expand on what had happened, instead posting the photo onto her Instagram stories.
The Sun has contacted Jennifer’s representative for comment.

Jennifer is a mum to three boys, and is married to husband Robbie Tickle.
The star shared a stunning snap with her brood last month, as they enjoyed a ski trip together on what the actress coined the “most magical trip ever.”
The star played Emily Shadwick on Brookside from 1998 until 2003.
She also appeared in The Phantom of the Opera in 2004, The Cottage in 2008, and Hotel Babylon in 2006.

And she was regularly on the covers of magazines, including the now defunct Zoo and FHM.
Jennifer took part in Celebrity SAS in 2022, and months after she revealed the secrets behind her incredible 3st weight loss since the programme.
Speaking to Closer magazine about the experience, she said: ";I lost a stone since doing it.
"I've since lost more because it really gave me a kick up the backside, because the gym is daunting to me.
"I was scared of the gym but then after SAS, I said if I could do that, I could do anything."
Talking of her weight loss she added: "I'm down to 10 and a half stone now and I'm in the gym five times a week - doing a mix of cardio and weights.
"I feel great."
In an interview last year, Jennifer revealed that she turned down an eye-watering six-figure cheque to pose naked for Playboy.
She was offered such a high sum because she was one of the biggest TV stars in the noughties.
The 41-year-old appeared on the podcast, where she discussed her early career.
She talked about how she turned down £500k to pose for Playboy at 21-years-old.
She said: "I did turn down Playboy for nearly half a million because I just thought, 'if I ever have little boys' - and I'm so glad that I turned it down because the Internet's crazy now.
"Even when they're playing rugby, they'll go, 'you're mum this or that'.
"Because they've seen me in the mens mags, not now, but obviously they've had a little google, so if there was anything like that out now, I would've been mortified."

Jennifer added: "I went over to LA and I sat in the Playboy office and it was surreal. She [The lady that was managing Playboy at the time] said I didn't have to do full nude, it just had to be my bum and boobs.
"My dad was a hackney taxi driver and I thought, 'he can't go and work on the rank' and I just though if I ever had little boys, that's their forever."
