TOWIE'S exotic cast trip to Bali ended up in a washout as filming was hit by severe weather from a tropical cyclone.
The island in southeast Asia was battered by extreme wind and rain over the weekend, just before the cast and crew jetted home following a lavish trip.
Warnings remain in place until tomorrow with winds reaching 75 km/h and waves swelling to 3.5 metres high.
Dani Imbert shared a picture of the driving rain before heading home, writing on Instagram: "Bali what is this pls?"
A source said: "The Towie gang just about timed their trip to perfection. They avoided the worst of the weather and were able to get lots of good footage as well as soaking up some sunshine.
"However, things took a turn at the very end of the trip and the cast were surprised at just how bad the weather was. It made the prospect of returning home to the UK a little less daunting."

A representative for the show said: "There were some rainy conditions at the end which always makes filming more challenging but all was fine."
Tourists were advised not to swim in the sea and told to take extra care when venturing outside as there was a very real risk of falling trees.
Bali is currently in its rainy season and forecasts show hot and humid conditions with the possibility of thunderstorms for the remainder of the month.
The Towie cast stayed at the exclusive Renaissance Bali Nusa Dua Resort and it looks like the new series will be full of drama.
