Sean, best known for playing Martin Platt on the ITV staple, took to his official Facebook page to pitch to fans.

"If you're looking for a cool pressie at Valentines girls... ordered and delivered," he wrote, adding "#simples."

After leaving the cobbles, the 59-year-old threw himself into another passion - artisan cheesemaking.

According to this website, the self-taught chef, with a passion for French cooking, has cooked in several Michelin-starred restaurants.

He launched The Saddleworth Cheese Company with his ex-partner Susie Fenwick and has won multiple awards for his strong and sharp flavours.

One of the cookbooks Sean shared on Facebook was 'Cheddar Gorged' - full of mouth-watering recipes with cheese at the heart of each one.

"Valentines heaven for the cheese lover in your life… signed and dedicated to him/her. Delivered in time. £20 plus post,” he wrote in the caption.

Fans rushed to praise Sean's tenacity, with one writing: "Looks cheesy to me! Good luck Sean."

Sean was due to return to Weatherfield after 19 years for a Christmas storyline with Gail Platt.

But he was dramatically axed pending a police inquiry into an alleged indecent assault from 1997.

He'd filmed more than two weeks worth of scenes when bosses collared him and told him he wouldn't be returning to screens.

Police cleared Sean in November 2024 and said there would be no further action over the claim, made by a woman with links to the soap.

Speaking for the first time about his ordeal, Sean told The Sun on Sunday: “My reputation was ruined in just eight minutes — my whole world blown apart.

“I had no idea who had made this complaint or anything about it but I lost my job. It’s been hell.

"I’ve been low all the way through.”
