BRITAIN’S Got Talent is finally back – and this year there’s a brand-new face joining the line-up.
ITV has confirmed that the nation’s favourite talent show will return for its 18th series later this month.
A trailer that will air on ITV from today reveals legendary Britain's Got Talent judges Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon, and Bruno Tonioli are all returning.
But The Sun first revealed last year that they'll be joined by social media megastar KSI, who is stepping in as a guest judge for the first time ever.
Ant & Dec will once again be front and centre when the show makes its comeback on Saturday, February 22 at 7pm, leading the search for the next big star as hopefuls take to the stage, all vying for a spot in the live semi-finals.
Last year’s series saw Sydnie Christmas take the crown, winning a life-changing £250,000 and a place on the bill at the Royal Variety Performance.
The decision who wins this series will be in the hands of the voting public, with the judges having the power to hit the Golden Buzzer for the most jaw-dropping acts.
BGT remains one of ITV’s biggest entertainment shows, boasting a massive 46 million social media followers and a staggering 25 billion video views worldwide.
With bigger acts, more drama, and an extra judge at the table, this year’s competition is set to be the most exciting yet.
It comes as The Sun revealed a huge shake up behind the scenes.
KSI, 32, will take over for three out of the five days that BGT has its first round of auditions in Blackpool as show chiefs hope he’ll open up the programme to a bigger market.
A TV insider said: "Their new judge doesn't just know a thing or two about entertaining, he has a colossal following who are largely young and tech savvy, which is just the sort of viewer that the show now thrives on.
"BGT isn't just a TV show it's a global internet phenomenon as well, with clips of the various acts being watched a staggering 24 billion times around the world. Which is why KSi is the perfect match, as his music alone has been streamed 2.7billion times."
KSI is a musician but recently he's moved into business and has previously boxed in matches against Tommy Fury and Logan Paul.
He said about his latest role: “I’m so excited to be a guest judge for BGT. When I got the call up, I couldn’t believe it.
“I remember watching old BGT episodes and going from being amazed to laughing my a**e off.
“I’m buzzing to see all the fresh new talent, and I’ll be sure to leave a mark.”
