THE Masked Singer fans think they have worked out the star behind the Bear costume as the final of the ITV singing contest draws closer.

There have been a stream of guesses as to who could be behind the mask but one fan thinks that FOUR obvious clues have sealed their identity.

According to one Reddit user, former Pointless host and podcaster Richard Osman is the man behind the mask.

Aiming to debunk theory that it is Kickstarts hitmaker Example, they said online: "I know most people are saying Example but I've linked all the clues and most of the clues match up to Richard Osman."

The curious guesser then went on to list a number of things which have been referenced in both Bear's Clue Package VTs as well as his performances and how they linked back to Richard.

Bear has made a reference to hit singer Cliff Richard which the fan was quick to link to his first name being Richard.

Moreover, Bear opted to sing Tender by Blur during the show's week where each of the songs held a clue to their performer.

The fan 'worked out' a link, stating: "Richard Osman’s brother in Suede Suede, which included Mat, singer Brett Anderson, and guitarist Justine Frischmann, was part of the Britpop ‘big four’ alongside Oasis, Blur, and Pulp."

Richard's favourite football team is known to be Fulham with Bear also appearing to be a fan of the club according to his VTs.

They also made a connection to Richard's former co-host and pal - Alexander Armstrong.

The Reddit user believed that clues pointing to the animal chicken could link to Alexander's time on the show as Chicken Ceaser.

Richard started off his media career as a successful television producer working on shows such as Total Wipeout and 8 Out of 10 Cats.

He then fancied a turn in front of the camera and took up the role as co-host of quiz show Pointless.

Having quit that job in 2022, he began focusing on his own self-titled BBC Two programme, Richard Osman's House of Games.

Who has left The Masked Singer 2025 so far?

Much to the delight of telly fans, The Masked Singer is back in 2025.

Twelve celebrities have been hidden behind intricate costumes, with their identities concealed.

Sadly, not all of this year's whacky and wonderful characters can make it to the end of the show, as there can only be one winner.

Here's who has been unmasked so far:

Snail - this singer certainly fooled the judges as the mask was lifted to reveal Andrea Corr. Jonathan Ross admitted to being a huge fan of The Corrs

Kingfisher - everyone was convinced this was Harry Hill, but the mask was lifted to reveal artist Sir Grayson Perry, who is known for his alter-ego Claire

Teeth - this character baffled judges and viewers with their changing voice. They were finally unmasked as former Bake Off host Mel Giedroyc. None of the panel managed to guess it was her

Tattoo - despite Davina McCall saying "you sound the same" after this character was unmasked, none of the judges guessed it was 80s singer Carol Decker, whose hit China In Your Hand was a No1 hit for five weeks

Toad In The Hole - a massive diva strop saw the character storm off the stage after the judges voted them off. They later returned to be unmasked as singer Macy Gray

Pegasus - the mythical horse was revealed to be Prue Leith, with judge Jonathan Ross correctly guessing her identity

Spag Bol - this character was first to be unmasked and was none other than Good Morning Britain host Kate Garraway.

Plus there was one extra unmasking this season, with Giant Joel - a caricature of host Joel Dommett - unveiled as double-double Olympic champion Sir Mo Farah.
