Gino D’Acampo ‘did and said whatever he wanted on set’ as terrified staffers ‘were too scared to complain’

GINO D'Acampo "did and said whatever he wanted on set" while working at ITV, insiders have claimed.
It comes as the TV chef, 49, has been axed by ITV over dozens of accusations of "sexually inappropriate" and "intimidating" behaviour spanning over 14 years.
has "firmly denied" all the allegations, which he called "deeply upsetting".
But a woman who worked with him told the : “Gino said and did whatever he wanted.”
Among the allegations are claims he "flicked" his genitals in front of one accuser, told another he would like to have sex "against the kitchen counter" and made threats to a runner if he didn't get him a Cornetto.
One woman, who has been called Hannah to protect her identity, Correspondent Sejal Karia the TV chef made inappropriate sexual comments to her on a job in 2011.
She alleged he told her he would "like to turn me over and f*** me up the a*** against the kitchen counter".
Today Gino was blasted by fans as he continued to post on social media as normal.
He posted a clip of his childhood sweetheart, Jessica Stellina Morrison, chatting with Fred Sirieix during a night out.
But it wasn't long before she realised it wasn't her husband, bursting into fits of laughter.
Gino quipped in his caption: "When the Wife chooses the wrong foreigner! GDx.”
But his followers were quick to call him out.
One commented: "Is this Gino actively ignoring what's on ITV news right now....”
However others jumped to the presenter’s defence.
One hit back: "Can’t stand this continuous cancel culture. If you were so hurt by a comment why wait 14 yrs to mention it. Arghhhh this world has gone mad. Still love ya Gino."
Someone else said: "I love Gino he’s just a joker honestly getting ridiculous.”
In a full statement, the dad-of-three said yesterday: "I have been told by ITN news that allegations have been made about me acting inappropriately, some dating back over ten years ago.
"I have never been made aware of these matters previously and the allegations are firmly denied. I would not do anything that I thought would upset or distress anyone.”
He added: “Not only have these allegations never been raised with me before, I have been repeatedly supported by executives at the highest level and was commissioned on prime-time programmes during the period in which it is now suggested I was acting inappropriately.”
In a statement to ITV News, Gino D'Acampo said: “I have been told by ITN news that allegations have been made about me acting inappropriately, some dating back over ten years ago.
"I have never been made aware of these matters previously and the allegations are firmly denied. I would not do anything that I thought would upset or distress anyone.
"This is simply not in my nature. I do not recognise the version of events being put to me.
"Not only have these allegations never been raised with me before, I have been repeatedly supported by executives at the highest level and was commissioned on prime-time programmes during the period in which it is now suggested I was acting inappropriately.
"I am a father, husband and have worked with well over 1,500 people on around 80 productions in my career, which I have been so proud of.
"I take such matters extremely seriously and the suggestion that I have acted in an improper way against is deeply upsetting."
