MAFS star Ella Morgan unrecognisable as she reveals results of hair transplant and VERY swollen

Married At First Sight star Ella Morgan has given fans a look at her swollen face while revealing the results of her painful hair transplant.

Ella, 31, filmed a close up of her bloodied new hairline while recovering at home and she held her hand gently over her eyes.

The reality star then removed her hand and zoomed in to reveal her very swollen face.

One eye has swollen up so much from her recent surgery that she is unable to open it and fans may even struggle to recognise her.

Ella compared herself to gentle giant Sloth from the iconic 80s movie The Goonies.

She captioned the clip on Instagram: "It's giving... the guy from the goonies."

Ella kept her hair transplant a secret and only revealed it once she'd had the procedure done this week.

The Celebs Go Dating star had, however, previously spoken about her desire to have the cosmetic op due to her own "insecurity" over a large scar.

Last March, Ella asked fans if they could recommend a surgeon as she disclosed her hopes for a new hairline.

Ella said at the time: "Hi guys, Since I had my face surgery in August 2021, I've got a large scar which goes along my hairline from one ear to the other, and it's been healed for a while now.

"I want to get a hair transplant to cover it, as it's something I'm still self conscious of when I wear my hair back.

"Any recommendations for clinics who offer the best hair transplant for women that would be amazing."

After going quiet on the matter, Ella surprised fans this week by revealing that she'd had her transplant done.

Ella posted a side-on shot of her face on Instagram that had been taken as she rested on the sofa with her eyes closed.

She had surgical tape across her forehead and a piece of white gauze tucked into an inflatable neck pillow.

Ella captioned the picture: "Sorry I've been quiet .. I'll be back on socials soon .. just taking some time to recover and chill atm.

"I've been vlogging the whole thing so you can see my journey when I've finished editing it Xx."

Ella's hair transplant comes after The Sun revealed she has split with her Celebs Go Dating boyfriend Alex James Ali.

We revealed in December that the pair, who had met on the E4 show, had broken up amid cheating claims.

Ella has since taken a series of swipes at Alex online, deleting all traces of him from her Instagram and even sharing a Christmas picture with her dog, who she declared was "her main man".

A rep for Ella told us at the time: “Ella is extremely grateful for her time on Celebs Go Dating and for meeting Alex.

"Sadly the couple had decided to split recently this month, but Ella was unaware of any messaging between Alex and other girls during the time they were together.

"This has come as a bit of a shock and so Ella will be focusing the rest of the Christmas and festive period on spending time with her family, alongside focusing on her career and wellbeing.

"She has learnt so much about what she wants and deserves, and knows what her worth is, which is the most important thing."
