Dancing On Ice’s Chris Taylor reveals new romance four years after heartbreaking Maura Higgins split

DANCING On Ice’s Chris Taylor is dating a mystery girl, with the former Islander lifting the lid on his new romance in a new interview.

Four years after his heartbreaking split from Irish beauty and I'm A Celeb star Maura Higgins, Chris has moved on with a new woman.

The mystery woman, who is not known, never saw him on television before dating him.

Chris, 34, revealed on the Not My Bagg podcast that he is dating a girl from Brighton.

He said that he prefers the fact she didn't know he was famous or off of the telly when they met.

Chris also revealed that she went to watch him on Dancing On Ice last week - the January 26 episode.

He added that their relationship is in its early stages, and he has not done a soft launch yet.

Keen to avoid the complication of going public with the romance, it seems that Chris is reluctant to reveal who his new woman is.

Chatting to host of the podcast Joe Baggs, Chris said: "Luckily the girl that I'm dating has never seen me on a TV programme.

"And I kind of like it like that because then there's no like preconception of what I like what I'm like, and I feel like I'm so comfortable with her I can be more of myself than I'm even able to be like on telly."

He later added: "It's quite like early stages but also like I don't even I don't know if I want to, I don't know soft launch yet."

Chris appeared on season 5 of Love Island in 2019 and then again in 2024 for the All Stars version. 

During his first stint on Love Island, Chris didn't find love but did find a best friend in the form of Michael Griffiths.

Chris also grew close to Francesca Allen and Maura Higgins while on the show.

After the show aired and concluded, Chris and Maura struck up a relationship.

The couple announced their romance in 2021 but split after only a few months together, with them deciding to remain friends instead.

In a statement at the time, Maura said: "It breaks my heart to even type this, but I wanted to let everyone know that myself and Chris have made the joint decision to end our relationship.
