Allo’ Allo’ and Hi-de-Hi icons team up for brand new comedy decades after hit shows ended

ICONIC stars from some of TV's best comedy shows have joined forced to bring a new sitcom to life.

New comedy show Barmy Dale will see a stellar cast of iconic TV stars take part in a new sitcom which is set to pilot on TV.

Barmy Dale transports listeners to a quaint fictional village filled with eccentric characters and heartwarming humour.

It offers a delightful escape from the everyday, reminiscent of classic British sitcoms while maintaining a contemporary edge.

The cast includes Vicki Michelle (Allo Allo), Jeffrey Holland (Hi-de-Hi), Judy Buxton (On The Up),  Linda Regan (Hi De Hi), The late Brain Murphy (Last of the summer wine) Mike Fenton Stevens (Only Fools and Horses) and Karl Howman (Brush Strokes).

Barmy Dale is based on the much loved podcast, which has been ranked in the Top 10 of both Comedy Fiction and Fiction Podcasts in the UK, and in the Top 10 for Comedy Fiction Podcasts in the US.

The upcoming TV pilot will serve as a tribute to the late Brian Murphy, who played the beloved character of Lord Palmer in the podcast. His presence will be felt throughout the episode, ensuring his legacy continues to bring joy to audiences.

To bring Barmy Dale to screen, the production team is to launch a crowdfunding campaign to bring it to screen later this year.
