DANCING on Ice star Chris Taylor has revealed he was involved in a car crash after his first live performance on the show.
The former Love Island star shared details of the hairy accident, explaining how it happened when he was trying to avoid a pile up on the road.
The Dancing On Ice star told the : “The day after the first Dancing On Ice show, I had a car accident.
“There were already a few cars on the side of the road who had pranged each other and they were in a bit of a kerfuffle, and I thought, I’m just gonna get out of your way.
"But I forgot to look, and a guy came in on the right-hand side.”
Despite the initial shock, the crash took an unexpected turn when Chris realised the other driver recognised him.

Chris added: “The guy got out and said, ‘You’re Chris,’ and it ended up being a really nice conversation.
"He even told me, ‘You skated really well yesterday.’”
Rather than going through insurance, the pair decided to settle the matter privately.
“We just sorted it out between us, and I backhanded him some cash to save going through the insurance,” Chris admitted.

“Not actually sure if I should say that or not! Is it allowed?!”
Thankfully no one was injured, and Chris is now focusing on his next performance on Dancing On Ice.
But the latest series has already been plagued with injuries.
Chris had another set back when his Dancing On Ice partner Vanessa Bauer was forced to pull out of the competition.
Vanessa took to her Instagram on Sunday to announce the sad news that she would be withdrawing from this year's series after sustaining an injury before the second live show.
She revealed in her video message that she had been training with Chris all week and skating through the pain she felt, not realising the seriousness of her injury.
It wasn't until she went for an MRI that she learned she had "a completely torn ligament, grade three sprain injury and a major grade two sprain injury."
She explained: "My pain threshold, I don't trust it, I have been skating this whole week with a lot of pain but I just didn't realise that it was such a significant injury so I didn't voice my pain.
"I don't want this injury that is already bad to get even worse and so the one sensible decision is to step away, do rehab, focus on my health - I guess mental health as well - because it's really bad that I have to leave."
New partner
But ITV confirmed to The Sun that Chris, 34, would remain in the competition with a new pro partner.
He has been paired up with Robin Johnstone and the duo skated together on Sunday night.
They were sent crashing to the ice after a misstep during their performance to the Pokemon theme tune.
Chris blamed himself for "the mistake" saying it had nothing to do with Robin.
Chris also paid tribute to Vanessa on his Instagram Stories following her announcement.
He told fans: "She is hands down the most committed, determined and inspirational woman I have ever met.
"She gives everything 2000% and it's been an honour to be taught by her.
"Very, very sad we don't get to finish this together, but you've got an annoying brother for life now."
