SAMIE Elishi appeared on the ninth series of Love Island, where she coupled up with her co-star Tom Clare.

However, after a dramatic split, Samie will be returning to the ITV dating show for a second chance at love.

Falling in love

Samie first crossed paths with Tom when she entered the villa on the 14th day of Love Island series nine. 

Tom had been in the villa since day one and had partnered up with Olivia, Zara and Ellie. 

However, it was love at first sight for Samie and Tom who consistently chose to couple up with each other. 

The pair finished the show in third place, but remained together after filming wrapped.

Samie and Tom decided to split

After just a few months of dating, Samie and Tom decided to split up. 

Samie took to Instagram: "Really didn't want to have to write an Instagram story on this, but the comments and messages I have been getting since Tom posted his story yesterday are just not fair.

"I will be speaking about everything soon, but at the moment the time isn't right (which I will also explain). Thank you for the kind messages; they don't go unnoticed."

Tom also opened up online about the tragic breakup.

He said: "Didn't think I'd be writing this but me and Samie have gone our separate ways. 

“We are still on good terms and I have nothing but love and respect for her. 

“I'm gutted it's come to an end, but I truly wish Samie the best."

Tom returned to the show for the first series of Love Island: All Stars, which he won alongside Molly Smith. 

In a shocking reveal, Samie was unveiled as a bombshell entry on Love Island: All Stars.

Determined to win, she made it clear that she only has eyes for one of her castmates: Luca Bish. 

Samie’s other relationship

Samie previously dated The Only Way is Essex star Harry Lee for several months. 

Harry is a professional footballer who has played for teams including Chelmsford City, Concord Rangers and Welling United. 

However, after dating for just months, the couple decided to break up.
