After fan backlash, celebs will be now be sent on holiday for the finale week - and have the chance to take their potential love interest.

A source told The Sun: “Bosses really want to pull out all the stops for the upcoming series and the overseas trips had been really missed.

"It was a cost-saving thing in recent years but producers decided the show was missing the glamour of an exotic jaunt so they decided to bring it back for this year.

"The cast are thrilled and can’t wait to pack their bags.”

Celebs Go Dating follows a group of single stars as they look for love, with a bit of help from dating experts Anna Williamson and Paul Brunson and Doctor Tara Suwinyattichaiporn.

Last year, Love Island All Stars' Chris Taylor and Gogglebox star Stephen Lustig-Webb were among the celebs who took part last year.

They were told not to expect the traditional overseas cast trip thanks to budget cuts.

Instead, the finale was a pool party filmed in the UK.

Travelling abroad had been a staple of the show alongside smaller trips throughout the season until 2022.

Before that, Celebs Go Dating was forced to totally revamp its show amid Covid restrictions.

The Mansion series saw stars live together in a social support bubble.
