WYNNE Evans' Strictly Come Dancing co-stars have been offering their support to him as he marks his birthday, according to reports.
The Welsh warbler turned 53 today and is said to have been "comforted" by his pals from the Strictly Live Tour.
Wynne's co-stars are said to be rallying round after he was hauled over the coals for making a crude comment to the tour's host Janette Manrara.
The star, who took part in last year's series of Strictly, made a joke using the hugely demeaning term ‘spit roast’ during a tour photocall in Birmingham earlier this month.
Wynne has reportedly accepted an offer by the BBC to take some time away from his BBC Radio Wales show.
He is being replaced on BBC Radio Wales by comic Robin Windsor.

According to the , Wynne has taken the break 'amid the furore' of his comment to Janette and because he is still grieving the loss of his brother Huw, who passed away earlier this month.
Wynne is also said to be feeling the physical strain of being on the road with the live UK tour.
An insider told the publication: "Wynne is being supported by his co-stars, they’re making a big push to ensure he’s ok as they’re worried about his low spirts.
"He’s had a tough few days and with it being his birthday today, they’re making a real effort to show he’s not alone."

Wynne's comment, referring to Janette and their tour co-star, EastEnders actor Jamie Borthwick, was caught on camera and published online over the weekend.
He has since apologised for making the remark, saying: "My language was inappropriate and unacceptable, for which I sincerely apologise."
On Saturday night, as news of his lewd remark came to light, Wynne pulled out of performing with Katya Jones due to an ankle injury.
He did, however, still take to the stage in Glasgow and belted out an opera song.
Wynne later shared a picture of his bruised foot on social media and told fans about his vocal performance in Scotland.
He said: "Ankle's getting a bit better, it was great to be able to sing in Glasgow tonight, even if I couldn't dance, hopefully back tomorrow."
Meanwhile, Janette's spokeswoman said she had been "unaware of this comment" Wynne had made.
BBC and Strictly Live producers said: "We have made it clear to Wynne we do not tolerate such behaviour on tour."
Wynne previously came under fire in last year's series of Strictly when he was seen groping his dance partner Katya, but they dismissed it as a joke.
