NETFLIX fans have been left devastated after the streaming giant confirmed it will be axing its "best crime drama" in just a matter of weeks.

Fans of the streaming service have only days left to binge a long-running crime drama.

Law and Order: Special Victims Unit first hit screens in 1999 as the breakout spin-off from the hugely popular Law and Order.

Now in its 26th series, which premiered on October 3, 2024, fans are on tenterhooks waiting for news of a 27th season renewal.

Five series of the drama are currently available to watch on Netflix in the UK.

But they’ll shortly leave the service on February 14.

Seasons one to 25 are all available to buy either on Prime Video and Apple TV.

Fans are in shock over the news saying they are "absolutely gutted."

Taking to X, one wrote: "im upset netflix’s removing law and order svu like that’s the only show i regularly watch on netflix."

Another added: "law and order svu is leaving netflix???? what will be my comfort show now??."

An insider told The Sun: "Celebs Go Dating are really keen to sign a star of a big US reality show as they haven’t had an international name since 2017.

"They have approached Chelsea from Selling Sunset and bosses are hoping she’ll sign on the dotted line.

Chelsea, 31, split from husband Jeff in 2024, with her filing for divorce after seven years of marriage.

In an episode of Selling Sunset Chelsea was told by Bre Tiesi that Jeff had been seen "making out" with another woman.

Chelsea and Jeff are parents to Maddox, five, and Melia, three.

Speaking to Access Hollywood following the split, she said: "I'm doing good.

"Ups and downs, take every day as it comes, but today I'm doing really good."

Chelsea also teased that the break-up will play out on Selling Sunset.

She said: "You're going to have to watch it, aren't you?

"What do you mean, ‘Will we see what happened?' What do you think I am? Think I started yesterday?"

The Sun recently revealed Celebs Go Dating are also lining up recent Love Island exes Nicole Samuel and Ciaran Davies for the new series.

A source said: “Nicole was asked to come in for talks with bosses almost immediately after the split with Ciaran - she was a real character on the ITV show so E4 bosses are eager for her to sign up.”
