OUT There viewers have been left shaken after witnessing a horror stabbing on the brand new drama.

The programme, fronted by Martin Clunes, has not stopped short of shocking viewers thanks to its grisly scenes and graphic nature with the latest episode of the programme being no different.

Fans were left horrified as they watched a horror stabbing unfold right in front of their eyes on the programme.

In the scenes, a drug dealer, Kenny, was stabbed by Jonny Williams, who is played by Louis Ashbourne Serkis, which left fans' stomachs turning.

Another drug dealer Rhys had been blackmailing Jonny to do drugs runs for him and his boss Kenny prior to the attack.

But when Kenny eventually attempted to rape Jonny's sister, Sadie, things took an eerily sinister turn.

With Jonny aware that the rape was about to happen, viewers saw Kenny pinning Sadie down and demanding she take her clothes off.

As Kenny later pushed her against a wall, Jonny burst in and stabbed him with the blood gushing out onto the floor and onto Sadie.

Unsure of what to do next, it led Jonny to ask his father Nathan, played by Martin, to help him in the clean-up efforts in order to get rid of the copious amounts of blood on display.

Reacting in horror to the grim nature of the scenes, one fan said: "This has got very grim..#outthere."

Another added: "Proper dark this innit!?! #outthere."

Before a third shared: "Knife crime being normalised #OutThere."

Others were left less than impressed by Nathan's clean-up efforts after the stabbing, saying: "They make it look so easy, but you always get caught out in the end. Small community, no escape."

Before someone else echoed: "#OutThere one way or another forensics will track them down."
