CORONATION Street in schedule shake up this week as Friday's episode has been 'ditched'.
Usually, episodes of the long-running ITV soap air every week on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.
However, the new edition of Coronation Street that is due to end at the end of the week has been delayed.
Instead, ITV1 will air coverage of the Rugby Six Nations Championship after Emmerdale at 7:30pm.
Viewers will miss out on their Weatherfield fix as France will take on Wales in the highly-anticipated match.
The sports programme will continue until at least 10:35pm, which will be swiftly followed by the news.

After that, Lee Mack takes to the airwaves for an edition of The 1% Club which will be shown until past midnight.
Fans bemoaned ITV's decision with a new thread on the social media fan forum site Reddit, titled, 'Schedule change!'.
They wrote: "Yes, bad news for all you Corrie fans as there are going to be only two episodes this week.
"Monday and Wednesday are normal, whereas Friday there is no episode due to the Rugby Six Nations take over on ITV!"

Viewers replied to the post in droves; one fan exclaimed: "Blah. Give me my Corrie!!"

According to ITV's schedule on their website, there is no episode of Coronation Street scheduled for Sunday on ITV1.
