Rising star

Amber-Rose is from London and opened her first business at the age of 22.

She launched a convenience store named Oree Mart, which also sold bubble tea

However, in an effort to streamline operations, Amber-Rose eventually dropped the popular tapioca-based beverage from her range of products.

Oree Mart now has 470,000 followers across its social media accounts (as of January 2025).

The star opened up to the BBC about her rocky start in business where she found that “earning respect as a woman wasn’t easy”.

She hopes that starring on The Apprentice will show other women that they can “achieve anything that they set their hearts on”.

Amber-Rose’s business

Amber-Rose has revealed that she wants Lord Sugar’s investment so she can launch Oree Tea.

This would be a boba tea shop, separate from her existing convenience store.

She hopes that she will be able to showcase the “best” Taiwanese bubble teas.

Ahead of the show, Amber-Rose shared that she thinks that it would be a no-brainer for Lord Sugar to invest in her.

She said: “If Lord Sugar doesn’t invest in me, he would quite literally be leaving money on the table”.

Raising eyebrows

Amber-Rose has already made headlines ahead of her appearance on The Apprentice, as a member of the crew spotted her in a hotel room with one of her male castmates.

The Apprentice has a strict “no-touching” rule for the candidates, which meant the incident has raised eyebrows at the BBC.

Amber-Rose is said to have shared a room with one of the contestants during the show’s trip to Turkey.
