Vicky McClure leads the cast of ITV's hit thriller series, which began in 2022.
Her character Lana Washington is an ex-military bomb disposal expert who now leads a Metropolitan Police bomb squad.
However, viewers will soon learn more about real people involved in this dangerous profession.
Four-part documentary series Bomb Squad: Trigger Point follows men and women who put their lives at risk while disarming and detonating bombs.
Channel 5 has commissioned Double FTV, part of Freeform Productions, to make the documentary.

It will take the audience on the frontline with elite units of the British Army, Royal Navy and Britain's leading private bomb disposal company, Brimstone.
The programme also includes emotional memories from survivors of major wars and terror attacks.
Additionally, the documentary introduces military personnel who served across the world and risked it all to keep others safe.
Dramatic footage highlights war zones and inner-city massacres.
Each episode will feature incredible stories filmed on the ground and body cams worn by the bomb disposal teams.
Federico Ruiz, Commissioning Editor, Unscripted, Channel 5 said: “The second you step into the real world of bomb disposal, your heart is in your mouth.
"The excruciating tension that these professionals work under makes for compelling viewing, and will have you seriously questioning yourself any time you think you’re having a bad day at work.”
Meanwhile, Michelle Heeley, Executive Producer at Double FTV, added: "Bomb Squad: Trigger Point is not for the faint hearted as we delve deep into a world where every second counts… and one wrong move can mean the difference between life and death.
"Our on the ground cameras will have unprecedented access as they capture each jaw-dropping detonation, drama and genuine life-or-death situations."
