Masked Singer fans ‘work out’ that Kingfisher is TV star and artist after show drops massive clue
FANS of The Masked Singer UK are convinced that they have rumbled the identity of Kingfisher.
Kingfisher is a character on this year's series of The Masked Singer, and now viewers reckon the celebrity behind the mask is a famous artist and TV star.
With a seemingly chubby body shape, the Kingfisher bird wears a white shirt with black horizontal stripes and green overalls.
The character is accompanied by some fishing gear, which can be seen around their torso, with the looked finished off with some green boots.
Fans of the show are sure they've rumbled the identity of Kingfisher, with many convinced they are a famous artist.
Grayson Perry is the famous artist in question.

The 64-year-old is an English artist is known for ceramic vases, tapestries, and cross-dressing.
Not only this, but Grayson is also known for observations of the contemporary arts scene, and for dissecting British "prejudices, fashions and foibles".
Fans on X believe they have figured out Kingfisher's identity, with one person writing: "Turned on mask singer for last 10 seconds of kingfisher and it’s Grayson Perry surely? I say that, I can’t imagine him doing mask singer but that’s my guess!"
"Kingfisher is Grayson Perry he had a show called full english," added another referring to their documentary series Full English, which aired in 2023.
"Not seen this posted anywhere else yet but we are 100% certain that #Kingfisher is Grayson Perry," penned a third.
FANS SPECULATE ON SOCIAL MEDIA
A fourth then asked: "Is kingfisher Grayson Perry?!"
"I’ll be floored if Kingfisher isn’t Grayson Perry," declared a fifth.
A sixth person then said: "I do get why people think kingfisher is harry hill but singing I still think he sounds like Grayson Perry!"
While a seventh agreed: "Have a feeling Kingfisher is Grayson Perry!"
CLUES SO FAR
When Kingfisher was introduced on the show, the first clue stated how he was the "most majestic of all the birds", adding how "there’s nothing better than a nice relaxing day down by the water".
Who has left The Masked Singer 2025 so far?
Much to the delight of telly fans, The Masked Singer is back in 2025.
Twelve celebrities have been hidden behind intricate costumes, with their identities concealed.
Sadly, not all of this year's whacky and wonderful characters can make it to the end of the show, as there can only be one winner.
Here's who has been unmasked so far:
Tattoo - despite Davina McCall saying "you sound the same" after this character was unmasked, none of the judges guessed it was 80s singer Carol Decker, whose hit China In Your Hand was a No1 hit for five weeks
Toad In The Hole - a massive diva strop saw the character storm off the stage after the judges voted them off. They later returned to be unmasked as singer Macy Gray
Pegasus - the mythical horse was revealed to be Prue Leith, with judge Jonathan Ross correctly guessing her identity
Spag Bol - this character was first to be unmasked and was none other than Good Morning Britain host Kate Garraway.
Plus there was one extra unmasking this season, with Giant Joel - a caricature of host Joel Dommett - unveiled as double-double Olympic champion Sir Mo Farah.
The lengthy first clue went on: "I’ve earned respect in my chosen career, and now it’s time for another feather in my fishing cap.
"I’m no warbler, but I have been known to showcase my kingfisher chorus from time to time."
Kingfisher added: "Well, the feathers are preened, I’ve dressed for success. Hopefully, I’ll make it through with flying colours tonight.”
And the second clue stated: "Fishing and planting, digging and moving, to reap the rewards, you’d better get sowing."
TATTOO UNVEILED
Masked Singer will air again this weekend following the unveiling of Carol Decker as Tattoo last weekend.
The T'Pau singer, 67, was unmasked as Tattoo on Saturday night, losing out to Dressed Crab, who lived to sing another day.
