A-list pop star shocks fans as she attends birthday party of This Morning star’s wife

SHE'S one of the biggest and most in-demand pop stars in the world.

And fans of Sabrina Carpenter were stunned to see her fit This Morning star Gino D'Acampo's wife Jessica's birthday party into her busy schedule.

The Italian chef shared a sweet picture of Sabrina hugging his daughter Mia on Instagram and wrote: "Grazie bella @sabrinacarpenter for the time you spent with my principessa Mia, so cool to see you at my wife’s birthday party."

It took Gino's followers by surprised and many couldn't believe the superstar singer dropped by the family celebration.

One person commented: "This is so incredibly random."

Another said: "Wait, what, when lol"

A third posted: "Dad of the year!"

A fourth exclaimed: "oh my god?"

The Espresso singer has had three UK number one singles and a number one album, and she's up for six Grammys this year, including in the coveted Album of the Year category.

This summer she is among the big name headliners at BST in Hyde Park, with her date quickly selling out.

Last week Gino shared a rare picture of wife Jessica to celebrate their 31st anniversary - 22 of which they've spent married.

Despite the TV chef being slowly sidelined by ITV bosses amid a string of claims about "inappropriate behaviour", he looked relaxed and loved-up high in the sun-kissed mountains.

But putting his troubles behind him, Gino treated his wife Jessica to a romantic trip away.

He wrote on Instagram: "31 years together and still smiling like our first date…….Happy Birthday amore mio….."

Gino met Jess - who is half-Italian, half-British - when he was 18, working at Sylvester Stallone’s Mambo King restaurant in Marbella.

Their romance was rocky at first, and they broke up for a year.

But the time they spent apart made their bond stronger and after reconciling, they moved to the UK together in 1995.

Their trip comes after Gino was accused of inappropriate behaviour by a woman he worked with between 2006 and 2011 on flagship show This Morning, where he was resident chef, and on Saturday Cooks.

It is understood she decided to speak out as a raft of allegations against the BBC’s MasterChef presenter Gregg Wallace came to light.

Gino is accused of jokingly flashing — with crew members on Emission Impossible, his show with Fred Sirieix, offered counselling afterwards.

But through all his work troubles, Jess has stood by her man.

She even stayed with him during his two-year prison stint in the late 90s.

The This Morning star previously said he and Jess have “a traditional marriage,” although part of the reason they work is the lack of time they are with each other.

He told Love Sunday: "Jessica and I don't really spend any time together.

“I think that's one of the reasons we've lasted for 20 years."
