Watch toe-curling moment Jamie Oliver spoon feeds a customer to make more cash amid chain closures – but there’s a twist

JAMIE Oliver spoon fed a diner at one of his restaurants in toe-curling scenes during a hilarious money-spinning plan, concocted by comedian Michael McIntyre.
The celebrity chef has faced a difficult year after multiple closures at his restaurant empire.
But Jamie will cook up new ways to earn extra dough from his remaining branches, thanks to Michael McIntyre's Big Show.
In scenes set to air this Saturday, he'll be a good sport and offer his customers additional services during their meal at one of his own restaurants.
With funnyman Michael, 48, overseeing proceedings from the studio, one set of diners were left stunned to discover his extra services.
In an exclusive first look, a waitress informs them: "Because Jamie is here tonight we do have a special menu.
"So it's Jamie's personal service basically, so you can pay extra to get Jamie involved in the meal.
"There's a napkin tuck, so he will come and tuck your napkin in for you, that's only £50."
"There's a spoon feed, so Jamie will come and feed you with a spoon."
Jamie then appears at the bewildered diner's table and explains how he's giving them a "complimentary" napkin tuck.
The dad-of-five turns around to the table directly behind and asks two businessmen which of them ordered the spoon feed.
In toe-curling scenes, Jamie then feeds one of the men under instruction from Michael as the rest of the restaurant watch on, aghast.
Of course, it’s all a stunt organised behind the scenes by BBC bosses to trick unsuspecting fans.
