MASKED Singer's Pufferfish is a huge Hollywood movie star, according to an audience member.

During the most recent episode of Masked Singer UK, Pufferfish put on an energetic performance of Cyndi Lauper's Girls Just Wanna Have Fun.

The character previously took to the stage with Chappell Roan's Good Luck, Babe.

The mystery celebrity has impressed judges and viewers at home with their vocals - and one person who claims to have been in the audience thinks they've worked out who's behind the mask.

Taking to Reddit, they insisted it's actress and singer Samantha Barks.

Since 2021 Samantha, 34, has played Elsa in the West End production of Frozen.

Listing their reasons for thinking it's her, the audience member wrote: "Firstly, the voice is very similar.

"Watch her BGT performance of 'Let It Go' and you’ll see what I mean - she has even got on her knees before whilst performing, which we saw in Good Luck, Babe last week."

"Next, it has to be said from someone who has seen Pufferfish live in studio, that she has an incredibly tiny stomach despite wearing a corset.

"From what I’ve seen, Samantha has the same physique. I’ve also seen pictures of her wearing corsets and everything seems to be near enough an exact match!"

And other viewers agree, with one writing on social media: "I think Pufferfish is Samantha Barks!"

Another said: "Pufferfish is definitely Samantha Barks."

Samantha shot to fame after taking part in the BBC talent show I'd Do Anything in 2008.

She went on to star in 2012 Hollywood movie Les Miserables.

Fans think they've also worked out who is behind Snail on the ITV show.

Following their latest performance, viewers took to social media to insist it's Andrea Corr behind the mask.

One wrote: "Snail is Andrea Corr- violins playing, clue package mentions Irresistible straight away (Corrs song), soft Irish accent, clue about being up in space- her solo album was called Ten Feet High."
