MASKED Singer fans have accused Macy Gray of faking her tantrum before she was unmasked as Toad In The Hole.
US singer Macy, 57, left Masked Singer viewers stunned on Saturday night when she stormed off stage after being voted off of the show.
After Jonathan Ross revealed they'd decided to save Bear from going home, Toad In The Hole was seen exiting the stage - leaving the judges and host Joel Dommett open-mouthed.
Now viewers have insisted Macy - who has previously taken part in the US and Australian versions of the competition - faked her reaction.
Writing on social media, one said: "It’s staged she doesn’t care less.
"She has caused drama on the other versions of the masked singer and the uk wanted in."

And someone else commented: "So either that was staged, or something had been massively edited out.
"I know Macy Gray has been the US version of the show before so something feels up. Unless I'm just totally falling into the made up drama trap?"
Macy was eventually persuaded to return to the stage for the usual unmasking but what followed was an excruciatingly awkward interview.
The Sun later revealed Macy - known for her iconic hit I Try - was "blindsided" after being given the boot so early.

An insider said: "When Macy stormed off stage everyone was frozen in shock but as soon as she reached backstage, crew removed her mask so they could talk her down.
“Macy was almost shellshocked to start with and was basically gutted to be out so early because she really enjoyed being on the American version - when obviously she did brilliantly - so was totally blindsided.
“It was the shock of it for her as well as the upset and in that moment she had a very raw, human reaction and wanted out."
While Macy previously made it to the final of the US show, she was also eliminated early in Australia.
Just like on The Masked Singer UK, she refused to remove her mask when required to do so.
Show judge Dave Hughes (best known as Hughesy), later shared what happened on Australian radio show 2Day FM's Morning Crew.
“Macy Gray had such passion for The Masked Singer that when she was told that she had to leave the show, which you saw last night, she refused to leave the show,” he said.
“She said, ‘No, I'm continuing in the show,’ and there had to be a discussion which went for quite a while as to, ‘No, you have to leave.’ She said, ‘No, I'm not leaving.’
"The thing is, we can't do the end of the show unless the head comes off.”
