Ex-Love Island star takes swipe at All Stars Islanders ahead of new series as she reveals ‘real reason’ they do the show

FORMER Love Island star Tanyel Revan has taken swipe at "forgotten" villa stars ahead of the new All Star series.

The hair salon owner, 28, appeared in the winter version of the show in 2023, which was won by Sanam Harrinanan and Kai Fagan.

Speaking to the about life after Love Island, Tanyel insisted it was deceptively hard work and contestants couldn't afford to rest on their laurels if they were to continue making money off the back of the ITV reality show.

She said: "One thing about this industry that people have to remember is that if you don't maintain it 24/7, which is very hard because it is a bit of a fake lifestyle, you can easily be forgotten.

"I think a lot of influencers go back on All Stars because they need to keep up and have that boost."

Tanyel, who has close to 500,000 followers across Instagram and TikTok, spent 24 days in the villa.

At one stage she was coupled with overall winner Kai as well as Ron Hall, who she is now close friends with.

Though she didn't find lasting love in the villa, it wasn't long before she found Mr Right in the real world.

All Stars series two will kick off tonight and is chock full of familiar faces.

Past winner Ekin-Su Culculoglu will strut into the Cape Town abode after they play an explosive icebreaker game.
