Love Island villa takes ‘emergency measures’ as All Stars hit by ‘extreme’ heatwave and stars warned not to go outside

The new series of the sexy show will see stars covering up their bikini bods

GABBY Allen, Kaz Crossley and the Love Island All Stars will be forced to COVER UP their bikinis and even stay inside as the villa is hit by extreme heat.

The forecast for today indicates a UV level of 13 will pelt the Islanders - with the highest ever level recorded in Cape Town being 14.

It means the Love Island stars will be hit by extreme measures to keep them safe from the scorching South African heat.

Bosses will advise them to stay in the garden’s shade and hang out inside the villa between 11am and 3pm.

And they’ll be encouraged to cover their skin up.

Official guidance for UV levels above 11 - which is classed as “Extreme” - states: “Take full precaution. Unprotected skin will be damaged and can burn in minutes.

“Avoid the sun between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m., cover up, and wear a hat, sunglasses and sunscreen.

“Don’t forget that white sand and other bright surfaces reflect UV and increase UV exposure.”

The Love Island All Stars’ villa is a sun trap, with white, reflective walls all around.

A show source said: “Crew and Islanders are prepped for all weather eventualities.

“Hats, sunglasses and sunscreen are all available and regularly seen on screen and there are areas in the shade for them to take cover, as well as of course inside the villa.

If the Islanders choose to stay outside, they’ll need to head to the kitchen, mini fire pit or day bed - and can opt for the new Secret Garden as long as they don’t use it with their couple.

Otherwise they’ll need to hangout inside or on the terrace.

The news comes just hours before Love Island All Stars kicks off, with 12 former faces entering the villa.

This includes exes Marcel Somerville and Gabby Allen, who waste no time in getting into an awkward clash over their chequered history.

Maya Jama will be on hand to welcome the cast to their new shared home – as well as the bombshell news that the public have been left in charge of their first couplings.

Who will be paired with who? And will there be a different kind of heat not coming from the sun going on?
