FAILED SEDUCTION

The Traitors fans baffled over strange game plan as RARE move made amid shock refusal to tempting offer

Fans of the show are baffled by Anna keeping the failed seduction a secret

FANS of The Traitors were confused by one of the contestants' strange moves within the game.

Anna Duke, 28, is a swimming teacher from Wicklow, and during tonight's episode, she was offered the chance to become a Traitor.

But remaining faithful to being a Faithful, Anna decided to turn down the Traitor's offer to recruit her as a Traitor - which is a rare move among contestants.

When the Traitors attempt to recruit a Faithful to become a Traitor, this means they don't carry out a murder on that night.

Because of this, when the contestants gathered for breakfast the following morning - they knew that the Traitors might have tried to seduce a fellow Faithful.

Another reason for a murder not happening is when the Traitors try to murder a Faithful who has won a shield in the challenge.

So, the contestants - other than the Traitors and Anna - didn't know for sure that the Traitors had attempted a seduction.

Anna didn't come forward to admit she had been offered the chance to become a Traitor, leaving the rest of the contestants in the dark.

Viewers didn't agree with Anna not coming clean about the Traitors trying to recruit her and her deciding to turn it down.

"Very confused, I don’t feel like there’s any reason to not tell anyone they tried to recruit her," penned one person on X.

Another said: "Why? Why would you not just announce to the table - 'they tried to recruit me last night, I turned it down, and that’s why no-one was murdered'? It’s the most obvious thing imaginable if they think they’re going to kill you anyway."

A fifth person then said: "If I was Anna, I think I’d take a risk on telling everyone, but I’d have done it before everyone was confirmed as alive. I’d have let the group know nobody had been murdered because they tried to recruit me but I said no."

MAJOR MISTAKE UNCOVERED

This comes after viewers uncovered a major mistake in the hit BBC show last night.

How does The Traitors work and who hosts it?

The Traitors first launched in the UK in 2022, after the Dutch format was acquired by the BBC.

Claudia Winkleman is the show's host, and has now hosted all three series to date.

How does it work?

It is a reality game show that involves 22 contestants, and some of them are chosen to be The Traitors.

The Traitors sees a group of contestants taking part in "the ultimate game of truth and deception".

The group of contestants are competing for the chance to walk away with a huge cash prize.

While navigating through a series of challenges, the team are also tasked with figuring out who the Traitors are in the group (usually three contestants).

Each night, the Traitors gather to "eliminate" one of the Faithful, removing them from the competition

Meanwhile, the traitors can be "banished" if they’re successfully outed as a traitor by a faithful.

The winners of the show are either the Traitor who remains undetected or the Faithfuls if they successfully eliminate all the Traitors.

The prize sees the winner could get £120K.

In every episode, once the Traitors have murdered a Faithful, all of the contestants arrive at the castle's dining room for breakfast.

Arriving in small groups of two or three, it seems that the Traitors all arrive early on so they can see the reactions of everyone else as they figure out who was murdered.

Uncovering this huge flaw in the format, fans took to X to discuss.

"The last 2 that come through the door at breakfast are obviously Faithfuls. The Traitors usually have 3 names and for suspense they keep them until the last to enter at breakfast.

"I am surprised no one has ever mentioned this," penned one person.

While another echoed: "If the Traitors just made a list of the last group to breakfast each day, they'd be able to work out who all the Faithfuls are."
