Who is Bush on The Masked Singer 2025?
FANS of The Masked Singer's 2025 series no longer have to work out the identity of Bush.
Ahead of the final, viewers were left stunned to discover the identities of not one, but two singing stars - here's everything you need to know.
Who is Bush on The Masked Singer 2025?
Bush was one of several celebrities who took to the stage during the 2025 season of TV's favourite guessing game, The Masked Singer.
Following the latest axing, Bush was revealed to be EastEnders legend Natalie Cassidy.
Natalie is best known for playing Sonia on the BBC show.
However, in January 2025, the star announced that she would be leaving the soap for good.

Following the reveal, the actress said: "It's been one of the best jobs I've ever done."
She added: "I think my little one will love it. My little Alfie, my great nephew, loves the show, so he's going to be thrilled.
"And I think my 14-year-old is going to go either way. She's either going to say 'Mum I'm really proud of you' or 'This is the most embarrassing thing'."
Bush made their singing debut in the second episode of the show, singing Wake Up Boo, by The Boo Radleys.
As well as Bush, the series welcomed several contestants, including Bear, who has also been unmasked.
What were the clues?
In true The Masked Singer style, Bush dropped several clues during their time on the show.
The character's main hints included:
- Determined to show they aren’t a "coward"
- They like the outdoors and gardening
- Bush also likes to "stage manage" where the plants go
- A "Best Bush in Show" trophy
- A judge's gavel and wig
- Time to get "tree-actrical"
- They're hoping for another "koala-ty" performance
- Performing can be a bit "trowel" and error
- Comedy is central
- Pink watering can
- Green door with No9
- Roo'ting powder
- Bush 4 Ryan with an L crossed through
- A University headed letter of acceptance from the Dean
Bush also shared the riddle: ''I’ve been training for years, and there’s no turning back.
''Have you peeped through my leaves? Are you on the right track?''
Another clue was two headlines - with only one related to the famous face behind the mask.
These were:
- The landscape is beautiful but the coach was hell. You know how I get on long journeys
- I know you thought this holiday was too short but man I do love to travel
Their clue song was Madness classic Our House.
Who did the Masked Singer judges think Bush could be?
The 2025 judging panel is made up of Maya Jama, Davina McCall, Jonathan Ross, and Mo Gilligan.
Love Island host Maya Jama has taken over from Rita Ora.
Davina chose Catherine O'Hara and guest judge Vicky McClure threw BBC's Ground Force host Charlie Dimmock into the mix.
Other names put forward by the judges were Billie Piper and Stacey Solomon.
New judge Maya said the clues led her to believe it was Idris Elba, but the voice didn't match.
After their second performance, the judges ALL changed their guesses, suggesting Stacey Solomon, Katherine Parkinson, Diane Morgan, Kim Woodburn, and Kerry Godliman.
Maisie Smith was added to the mix after their third performance, and Jonathan had an outlandish guess... yes, Mary Berry.
Who did The Masked Singer fans think Bush was?
Those watching at home joined the judges and shared several fan theories.
Following an episode of The Masked Singer on Saturday, January 25, 2025, viewers decided that the Baby Reindeer actress, Jessica Gunning, could be the true identity of Bush.
Connecting the clues one fan on Reddit wrote: "Could it not be Jessica Gunning?
"She was an Australian backpacker in Inside No. 9 and was in a small role in the episode Partners in Crime in Doctor Who in 2008."
However, before Bush even took to the stage, viewers were already convinced they knew who was behind the mask.
They were convinced that Bush was McFly bandmate Tom Fletcher after a clue was dropped by The Masked Singer 2024 winner Danny Jones.
Danny said he was given the option of playing either a Bush, or a Piranha, ahead of last year's show.
Fans jumped on this and named Tom as the character.
Sharing their theory online, one fan wrote: ''Tbh i think it's Tom. It just looks like him idk how to explain."
However, after appearing on Sunday, January 5, 2025, it was revealed that Bush was in fact female.
In the week that followed, fan theories pointed to a huge soap star.
Fingers began pointing towards EastEnders legend Natalie Cassidy.
One posted online: "DO THESE PEOPLE NOT KNOW SONIA FOWLER #TheMaskedSinger."
Another added: "Natalie Cassidy as the Bush.... possibly."
Others were whole-heartedly convinced that comedian Morgana Robinson was doing an impression of the EastEnders soap star to throw viewers off.
A Reddit user wrote: "It's definitely Morgana Robinson.
"She does a very good Natalie Cassidy impression, was born in Australia (judges are going down the I'm A Celeb route) and she was in an episode of Inside No9."
However the same poster also cheekily said: "After the clues, who pee'd in a bush.

Other guesses included comedian Lolly Adefope, TV host Stacey Solomon, and gardener Charlie Dimmock.
Who has left The Masked Singer 2025 so far?
Much to the delight of telly fans, The Masked Singer is back in 2025.
Twelve celebrities have been hidden behind intricate costumes, with their identities concealed.
Sadly, not all of this year's whacky and wonderful characters can make it to the end of the show, as there can only be one winner.
Here's who has been unmasked so far:
Bush - she didn't fool viewers and the judges were so close, but Bush was in fact EastEnders legend Natalie Cassidy. Davina McCall came closest, guessing Morgana Robinson, who does a mean impression of the Sonia actress
Bear - another success for new judge Maya Jama as she guessed correctly that the singing Bear was none other than singer, songwriter Example - real name Elliot Gleave
Snail - this singer certainly fooled the judges as the mask was lifted to reveal Andrea Corr. Jonathan Ross admitted to being a huge fan of The Corrs
Kingfisher - everyone was convinced this was Harry Hill, but the mask was lifted to reveal artist Sir Grayson Perry, who is known for his alter-ego Claire
Teeth - this character baffled judges and viewers with their changing voice. They were finally unmasked as former Bake Off host Mel Giedroyc. None of the panel managed to guess it was her
Tattoo - despite Davina McCall saying "you sound the same" after this character was unmasked, none of the judges guessed it was 80s singer Carol Decker, whose hit China In Your Hand was a No1 hit for five weeks
Toad In The Hole - a massive diva strop saw the character storm off the stage after the judges voted them off. They later returned to be unmasked as singer Macy Gray
Pegasus - the mythical horse was revealed to be Prue Leith, with judge Jonathan Ross correctly guessing her identity
Spag Bol - this character was first to be unmasked and was none other than Good Morning Britain host Kate Garraway.
Plus there was one extra unmasking this season, with Giant Joel - a caricature of host Joel Dommett - unveiled as double-double Olympic champion Sir Mo Farah.
