Masked Singer judge Maya Jama reveals VERY awkward fan encounter during intimate moment

BEING asked for selfies is all part and parcel of celebrity life.

However, Maya Jama has revealed a very awkward encounter she experienced during an intimate procedure that left her stunned.

The newest Masked Singer judge was appearing on the After Mask show with Davina McCall and Mo Gilligan last night.

Held after ITV's hit guessing game show airs, spin-off host Harriet Rose asked Davina and Mo to join in on a game called: 'Who Knows Maya Best'.

The presenter asked the duo: "Where is the weirdest place Maya has been asked for a selfie?"

She continued: "This is probably one of my faves. Is it a) while getting a bikini wax, b) in the dentist's chair or c) after someone hit the back of her car?"

Harriet then said: "This is why I got laser hair removal just to eliminate..."

Mo then said: "I know what one it isn't, but I'm not going to tell Davina that."

Davina then guessed while she was getting a bikini wax, which was the correct answer, much to the hysteria of the shocked audience.

With host Harriet also shocked she asked Maya: "Was it after or during?"

Judge newbie Maya said: "No, like she'd finished, and then she was like: 'I've gotta ask. Can I get a little picture?'"

"I was like: do you want me to just put my pants on first?"

"So it was pants off?" asked a visibly shocked Harriet.

"It was pants off. Legs ahoy!" confirmed Maya. "I did it. I said why not?"

Taking to X, formerly Twitter, fans applauded the 25-year-old's fan dedication, with one saying: "Legs ahoy! She's an absolute star!"

Another agreed saying: "Got to respect the hustle."

The Masked Singer is a reality singing competition that sees celebrities sing while dressed in weird and wacky outfits to conceal their true identities.

Picking up on clues, judges and the audience vote for their favourite singers, with the masked celebs with the fewest votes unveiling their true identity.

Maya is the newest judge to join the Masked Singer line-up, where she has replaced Rita Ora, appearing with the show's previous hosts, Jonathan Ross, Davina McCall and Mo Gilligan.

Prior to the show's launch, which is hosted by Joel Dommett, Maya said: ‘I’m such a Masked Singer fan, so joining the panel alongside Davina, Jonathan, and Mo – and of course working with Joel – is going to be so much fun!"

‘I can’t wait to figure out who’s underneath all those incredible costumes, vibe to their performances, and get front-row seats to the unmaskings."
