The Masked Singer fans convinced Kingfisher is TV comedy legend after ‘working out’ clues
ITV viewers are 'convinced' they've already worked out the identity of one of the singers, after clues have hinted at a possible comedy icon.
The ITV show returned with presenter Joel Dommett and its new judging panel as Maya Jama takes over from Rita Ora, but viewers have already honed in on guessing one of the singers.
In the opening number, all of the new characters took to the stage including one blue Kingfisher, who was given a solo line in the performance.
After they sang their one line, viewers flooded social media with their theories as one predicted it must be comedy and TV icon Harry Hill.
On X viewers were keen to get their guesses out early as one said: "That’s definitely Harry Hill, he has a good voice."
Another agreed as they posted: "So others are saying Harry Hill for Kingfisher. I did say I heard him at the start."

After Kingfisher had stepped out on the stage and performed, viewers were even more sure they had nailed who the mystery performer was.
One person wrote on X: "Kingfisher on the Masked Singer sounds like Harry Hill to me."
Another shared: "Kingfisher is Harry Hill. No question."
"The only one I've had a clue about... surely kingfisher is Harry Hill?!!??" said a third.
Another posted: "Kingfisher sounds like Harry Hill. Did at the start of the show too. Not sure where the clues link though."
Another viewer was also flummoxed by the clues but convinced the You've Been Framed star must be behind the mask as they said: "Harry Hill as Kingfisher- distinct voice- although the clues make no sense to me."
The first episode of The Masked Singer was also hit by an awkward moment as new judge Maya Jama leaked the identity of 'Giant Joel' who was teased on the Christmas special.
Taking to social media, the brunette star showed off her incredible first show look before she stepped out to take on her new TV role.
Yet in her Instagram snap she posed alongside Olympic legend Mo Farah on the panel, letting slip there was a special guest.
Fans did not let the gaffe go unnoticed as they pointed it out in her comments as they suggested she might want to delete it.
Confident Maya replied: "Mo is a guest panelist episode 1 it’s not a secret x."
