AMELIA Spencer and her daughter Esther are set to leave Emmerdale for good in the aftermath of Tom King's harrowing trial.
The teen mum has been going through a difficult time on the soap as she ended up in a relationship with the manipulative vet after Belle Dingle split up with him.

Amelia initially believed that Tom had done nothing wrong and bought into his lies about Belle, even though the older woman tried to warn her that Tom was an abuser.
But she eventually saw his dark side as he turned on her in front of the whole village on Bonfire Night, shouting at Amelia and comparing her to a "stray dog".
The truth about Tom's abuse finally came out this week as he faced a jury for the charges of coercive controlling behavior and assault.
Tom was given a guilty verdict and sentenced to three years in jail, so the women of Emmerdale are finally free of his terrorising ways.

Despite the positive outcome of the court case, Amelia revealed afterwards that she plans to leave the Dales for good.
Tonight's episode will see her dad come to pick her and two-year-old Esther up.
Amelia's friends are initially shocked to see Daz in Emmerdale for the first time in five years, and this prompts the teen's confession that she is moving in with him in Lecister.
Her close friend Kerry is left devastated by the news, and goes to Belle for advice on how to convince Amelia to stay in Yorkshire as the two women recently shared a bonding moment.

Although Belle had recently gotten close with Amelia, she tells Kerry that it would be wrong to try and pressure her to stay in the Dales, especially since this is the kind of coercive behaviour she already experienced from Tom.
Kerry sees the wisdom in her words and heads back to the village to say an emotional goodbye to her friend.

She also warns Amelia's dad that she will mow him down if he doesn't take good care of the girl.
The actress who has played Amelia for the past 13 years admitted that she was "struggling" behind the scenes after hearing the news that she was being axed from the soap.
Daisy Campbell told the Mirror: "It wasn’t my choice to leave Emmerdale and it was a shock at first.
"Being in Emmerdale is all I have ever known. I’ve spent the whole of my childhood growing up in the soap and it felt daunting."
However, she acknowledged that Amelia's storyline on the soap was complete, adding: "Amelia isn’t part of the Dingles, her dad has left, Samson has gone now and she doesn’t have any family.
"There is nowhere to take Amelia and I understand that. I feel incredibly lucky to have been in the soap for 13 years and to have been handed so many opportunities at such a young age."
