Hollyoaks star lands huge role in Hollywood movie with Batman star after begging bosses to cut her from soap
EMMA Rigby is swapping Hollyoaks for Hollywood after landing a role in a huge movie alonside stars from Batman and The Walking Dead.
Earlier this year The Sun revealed Emma, 35, quit Hollyoaks less than a year after returning as Hannah Ashworth.
But it won't be long before fans can catch the actress in action as she's reprised her role in the sequel to the 2013 thriller The Physician.
Emma is playing her character Rebecca in The Physician II, one of the film's starring roles.
According to the movie's official IMDB profile filming has wrapped and it's set for release late next year.
Emma will appear alongside Batman star Aidan Gillen, Game of Thrones actor and The Walking Dead star Tom Payne.

Also starring in The Physician II are Line of Duty's Owen Teale and The Last Kingdom actress Emily Cox.
Emma's exit from Hollyoaks came amid a mass cull at the Channel 4 soap.
She originally starred as Hannah between 2005 until 2010 and had huge storylines like her eating disorder and doomed relationship with John Paul McQueen.
When she first returned in November, 13 years after originally quitting in 2010, Hollyoaks aired five nights a week on Channel 4 and E4.
But since then budget cuts at the corporation has seen the episode order slashed to just three 20 minute episodes per week and a mass cull of cast and crew.
As a result Emma is said to have pleaded with bosses to let her walk away before her contract was up.
A source said: “It just wasn’t working out for Emma.
"She agreed a long-term return with certain expectations but that all changed.
"She’s a professional through and through but the changes were too much so she decided to walk away.”
